About

four domains

I have developed a programme which has been designed to be delivered to groups but can work equally well on a one to one basis. Based on current practice, as well as counselling, therapy and social work theories, the programme works through four distinct stages and encourages participants to use photographs to explore their own perceptions of themselves, their relationships with significant people in their lives, the way they interpret life events, and the way in which they challenge issues within their environment.

Within the group environment, sessions typically last for around 2 hours and are delivered by a coordinator once a week for 6 weeks. The participants have control over what they photograph, and what they say about their images, which changes the dynamic of the traditional therapeutic working relationship.
