Kizuku – Stage One: Seeing

Kizuku means “to notice.”

That’s why the first stage of my new six-session therapy programme is called Seeing.

Together we’ll slow down, pay attention, and explore what emerges when we truly notice:

đź“· What draws us to an image
🧠 What memories and thoughts arise
❤️ What we experience in the body
🌱 What feels important but perhaps hasn’t yet found words

This is not a photography course.

It is therapy, with photography providing another language through which we can explore ourselves and our experiences.

As a BACP-registered therapist, I’m delighted to be offering this new six-week, one-to-one programme.

Therapy/Counselling

I am delighted to announce that from this Summer (2025) I will be offering 1 to 1 therapy/counselling appointments. As a qualified pluralistic therapist, I work collaboratively with my clients to use approaches that work best for them. I can draw on a number of modalities and creative techniques, and I have been using photography as a tool with clients to great effect.

Being based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, I can meet clients face to face in Banchory where I have a meeting room, but I am also skilled at working online, and welcome clients from out with the area (and international clients). I am registered and insured and have included information on my web site about qualifications.
